HaloVault
What is a Mint?

A mint is a public proof record for any item.

Cards, comics, records, magazines, memorabilia, and household valuables can be minted. A signature is optional. The badge tells buyers which evidence layer exists and what it does not prove.

Minted

Self documented

Proves

HaloVault sealed the item's photo-first record with camera evidence, available EXIF facts, a tamper-evident HaloCert hash, and an RFC 3161 timestamp when available.

Does not prove

Third-party authenticity, grade, market value, ownership, custody, or an autograph.

Store-Verified

Shop attested

Proves

A HaloVault authorized verifier physically inspected and identified the item, photographed condition at verification time, and attached a store attestation. NFC is optional.

Does not prove

A grade, appraisal, financial guarantee, ownership guarantee, or signer/autograph certification.

Signed & Minted

Signing layer

Proves

HaloVault sealed a signing association that links the minted item to a signed companion card and timestamped signer video evidence.

Does not prove

The original item itself was autographed unless separately stated. It is not a grade, appraisal, or financial guarantee.
