Make the strongest useful claim the evidence can carry.
HaloVault does not treat every clue as equally reliable. It connects the card’s attributes and available evidence, applies the right calculation for that situation, and shows the result at the confidence it deserves.
Identify first
Player, year, maker, product, set, card number, parallel, rookie status, autograph, memorabilia, serial number, and grade create the identity the rest of the report depends on.
Separate fact from model
A printed serial number is observed. A surviving population or pack total may be modeled. HaloVault labels the difference instead of blending them together.
Use ranges honestly
Production, pull probability, and value can change with format, distribution, condition, and incomplete evidence. A defensible range is better than a fragile single number.
Stop when proof stops
If product configuration, market support, photo quality, or historical records are too weak, the answer becomes limited or unavailable—not filled with a guess.
