1. Who sells the item

The named vault or seller—not HaloVault—is the seller and your contractual counterparty. HaloVault provides inventory, sharing, offer, evidence, communication, and payment-connection tools.

The seller is responsible for the listing, item, fulfillment, customer service, returns, and legally required remedies.

2. Item information and due diligence

Review the actual-item photos, description, condition disclosures, price, shipping terms, and return terms before making an offer or paying. Ask questions when an identity, variation, condition issue, or included component is unclear.

AI identification, pricing, condition observations, grading estimates, HaloCert, and other platform output are assistive and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional authentication, appraisal, or an official grade.

3. HaloWitness limitations

A HaloWitness receipt may show fresh evidence, server time, device or operator context, hashes, and an item link. It can help show what was presented at that time.

A receipt does not prove legal ownership, title, authenticity, grade, value, or continuous custody. A self-attested receipt is not independent machine verification of a physical challenge note.

4. Offers and checkout

An offer is not a completed purchase unless the seller accepts it and the required payment or agreed offline steps occur. Seller counters, expiration, availability, fraud review, and payment authorization may affect completion.

Stripe or another disclosed processor may handle payment and collect identity, billing, shipping, fraud, and authentication information under its own terms.

5. Delivery, returns, and problems

Inspect delivery promptly. Contact the seller and use the displayed report or payment-dispute process if an item is missing, damaged, counterfeit, or materially not as described.

Off-platform payments or arrangements may not have HaloVault transaction records or platform assistance. Never send payment or sensitive information merely because a message claims to be from HaloVault.

6. Contact

Marketplace safety concerns can be reported to [email protected]. The general HaloVault Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
